Metabolomics helps guide HR-LCMS and NMR isolation schemes. MZmine 2.10, In-house EXCEL Macro customised with the Dictionary of Natural Products (DNP) 2017, and SIMCA 14.0 help predict and analyse the results. Multivariate analysis yields substantial omics data analysis results. Thus, metabolomic study requires knowledge of its application. Future metabolomic studies on propolis from various locations in Malaysia can provide a well-documented metabolite profile to determine honey samples' bioactivity or prophylactic usefulness. A public database of honey and propolis metabolomic profiling can also be created. A consistent approach for honey and propolis metabolomic processing can also be created. Malaysian honey can be treated similarly with bioactive compound isolation. As with New Zealand's Manuka factor (UMF) honey, bioactive ingredients in Malaysian propolis and honey would indirectly boost global sales of Malaysian bee goods.
